America's Rededication

In this season prayer is not an option. 

Prayer is a necessity.

Prayer is a mandatory requirement for all believers.

Even pagans pray.

And those committed to prayer understand that prayer is never a one and done, but prayer is a lifestyle.

Throughout scripture are examples of those who prayed.

• Hannah prayed (1 Samuel 2:1)
  
• ​Solomon prayed (1 Kings 8:22)
• Hezekiah prayed (2 Kings 20:5)
• Nehemiah prayed (Nehemiah 1:11)
• Scribes and Pharisees prayed (Matthew 23:14)
• Jesus prayed (Matthew 26:36)

And as believers we are called to pray,

And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do.
for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Matthew 6:7

In twelve days, on May 17, 2026, President Trump will hold an event on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., to rededicate the United States as "one nation under God." 

In my life, no President has done such. We can only pray there will be no mixture of "gods" during this rededication. 

For the biblical meaning of rededication is sacred. It refers to “a deliberate, renewed commitment to follow and serve the Lord Jesus wholeheartedly after a period of spiritual decline, lukewarmness, or wandering.”

May the renewed commitment become the anchor American needs to survive the dark days ahead.

​Interestingly, America will also celebrate its 250th year of independence. 

This year marks a pivotal time for this nation, which is why we are aligning with the rededication with prayer and fasting the week prior to this event.

There’s still time to join us as we pray for America during this critical time in our nation.

This is a time that may never happen again, a time of national rededication to the one true living God, Yahweh, El Elyon, our LORD of Hosts.
