 In the words of Charles Dickens, "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." Look around it doesn't take a prophet or a rocket scientist to know that we live in a world that seems to be spinning out of control. On a daily basis our minds are bombarded with stories of violence, sadness, crime, devastation, perversion, unusual weather phenomenon, and more! There is a place in Christ where peace and solitude can be found. His word says, "You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore" (Psalm 16:11).
