In the 1990s, a Japanese scientist, Masaru Emoto, conducted a study that involved frozen water. He demonstrated the effects of energy. Under a microscope, pure water, when frozen produces beautiful snowflake-like crystals. He labeled one vial with negative phrases; the other with positive words. Within 24 hours, the vial labeled with negative phrases had polluted water, while the labels with positive phases produced pure snowflake-like crystals. Energy from negative words pollutes, while positive words purify. In Mark 11:12-25, Jesus was hungry. He saw a fig tree. The leaves were bountiful but bore no fruit. When Jesus could not find fruit he said to the fig tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” The moral to Mark’s story is two-fold: 1) it demonstrated the transformative power of prophetic words and, 2) it reflects the need to bear fruit to the hungry.
The prophetic word when written is transformative. The Greek word for transformation is “metamorphoó.” This word is found in the term metamorphosis, which means to “change; transform; transfigure.” An example is seen the caterpillar’s metamorphosis to a butterfly. The Year 2019 will usher in a new breed of scribal marketplace ministers. Yahweh is summoning His army of writing prophets to serve as Scribal Commanders (Ezekiel 9). This breed of Scribal Commanders will dispense transformative change through the power of the prophetic pen. While in prayer, I saw heavenly angels rejoicing. As I moved closer I became a part of those summoned. I was assigned a new rank as a Scribal Commander. We kneeled before the LORD as Heavenly angels issued new inkhorns and feathered writing instruments. I bowed in awe as the train of His robe filled the room. He lifted His right hand and angels moved quickly to pour a gold translucent oil into our inkhorns. Suddenly, the angels cried, “Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD GOD Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.” One by one each Scribal Commander was marked by rank and assignment. Our commission was to inscribe prophetic messages from Yahweh, The Writer, and Chief Scribal Commander. I dipped my pen into the translucent oil to sign the document we were each given. As the oil touched the parchment it changed into reddish ink. The ink signified the shed blood of Christ for humanity. It sealed our assignment to honor and guard His word. A visual picture is in our logo. The writing instrument is an eagle's feather, which represents the prophetic word delivered to the nations. The wooden frame that surrounds the earth represents humanity and the ultimate sacrifice Christ made on the wooden cross. As I came out of prayer I found gold dust on the palm of my hands and could hear the angels saying, “Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD GOD Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.” Are you called to write?
