Are you willing to ask and keep asking until you hear from heaven? Persistent prayer requires you to press in prayer. Persistence is not begging. Persistence is staying the course, refusing to give up or give in until God answers. Hannah desired a child. Every year she visited the temple to present her request to God. One day the priest Eli noticed her. At first he thought she was drunk, but soon discovered she was praying for a son. Eli prophesied into her life and God granted her request. Another example of persistent prayer is about the story of a widow. The widow was relentless in her requests. Every day she went to a judge asking for justice. She wore the judge out, so much so the judge said, "I fear neither God nor man, but this woman!" And as a result of her persistence the judge granted her request. Is there something you need from God? Be persistent until He answers, "Yes or No." Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep asking until He gives you a response.
