Resources for Writers

Writers need readers! Periodt! Without a reader, the author is nonessential. Whether you desire to publish a book share your expertise, generate passive income, or grow your  tribe social media is essential to a writer's ability to grow and thrive.  Some resources for writers are listed below.  Now is the time to utilize resources available at your fingertips. 

This list is by no means exhaustive.  You may know of other sites to use to connect with your audience, but, in case you are unsure of where to start here are a few.

Grammarly - Get started with Grammarly for free!  Grammarly is a superb resource for tightening and editing your writing.

Fiverr - A great resource for book covers, graphics, editing and proofreading services, video, website design, and more.

Mailchimp - A fantastic email service to build your tribe or sphere of influence.  Offer free classes, share your work, create a landing page to grow your tribe, and more.

Facebook - A must have to stay connected with your followers!  Facebook integrates nicely with Instagram.  Post short stories, links to your blog, and more.

Instagram - Who doesn't like pictures?!  Instagram provides the visual appeal writers need to transform the written word.

Twitter - Don't let Twitter fool you!  Twitter helps the writer keep his or her words to clear concise messages.  Twitter also connects with Periscope giving the writer a two for one method for interacting with new followers.

Google Sites - Google sites is one of many ways to get a jump start on building a website for your writing.  Word to the wise:  If you decide you want something with a little more robust consider hosting a site.
