Are you a kingdom writer? In this post I'll share five characteristics of a kingdom writer.
But first, I'll begin by answering what is a kingdom writer? Kingdom writers are inkhorn writers, scribes, creatives, and ordinary people called to build the kingdom of God by publishing words that impact lives. Kingdom writers are co-creators with God (Matthew 6:33) in their discipleship, educating, and sharing Father’s heart to the world through the written word. Begin by determining your priorities then work toward accomplishing them. I think about when I wanted to write a book. Years went by before it was finally published. What was the problem? Why did it take so long? After all, it wasn't like I didn't want to write a book. I did, but I found out how quickly life can get in the way. And if it wasn't life, I found myself struggling to get the motivation I needed to do the dang thing. It wasn't until I acknowledged that life happens. Life didn't stop because I wanted to write a book. I had to learn how to press through the obstacles. I had to realize that "want" and "desire" gets nothing done.
